| label_no | The Norwegian label — written to match what people actually search for, not just a category name. |

| description | What the category covers, in Atlas's words, in English — the editorial definition a consumer needs in order to judge whether an activity was classified as they would. |
| description_no | The same editorial definition in Norwegian (bokmål). Added 2026-10-06. |
| sort_order | Row order in the source taxonomy (grouped by family). ⚠️ Not a measure of importance — sort by this for a stable display order, nothing more. |
| search_terms_no | Pipe-separated `term (volume_band)` pairs — real, validated search terms that find this category, Norwegian. Added 2026-10-06; loaded as proposed evidence, not reviewed row by row. Empty for categories with no measured search demand. |

About this view
Atlas's own cross-NGO service vocabulary, 38 categories, built from real search demand.
⚠️ ATLAS'S OWN VOCABULARY, NOT AN UPSTREAM STANDARD — the only list here that is
Atlas's editorial judgement rather than another body's published standard. It exists
because no Norwegian authority publishes a cross-NGO service taxonomy. The other eight
lists are citable to their publisher; this one is citable to Atlas.
🔴 GREW FROM 22 TO 38 ROWS 2026-10-06 (INVESTIGATE-ngo-activity-taxonomy.md) — every
original code unchanged, 16 added. Labels are written to match what people actually
search for (Google Keyword Planner volumes), not just a category name — see
search_terms_no/need_terms_no/volunteer_terms_no below.
