About this view
Per-source indicator data for ssb-10501 (SSB), at the publisher's own grain.
Persons by first name, per year — a reference list added for identifying Norwegian first
names in free text, not a kommune-level demographic indicator. One row per (first_name,
year). Nationwide only; SSB publishes no kommune/fylke breakdown for this table.
🔴 NOT AN EXHAUSTIVE NAME LIST. Only first names used by 200 or more persons in Norway at
year-end appear as a row, in any year — a name with fewer bearers never appears here at
all. This list is a useful floor for catching common names, not a ceiling for catching
every real one.
